Grade 10 WHSS student first to take presidency of Mount Forest Leos Club

Mount Forest, ON — Congratulations to grade 10, Wellington Heights SS student, Abigail G. for being chosen as the first president of the Mount Forest Lions Club, Little Lions Division.

The Leos Club aims to instill leadership, experience, and opportunity in its members, who are mentored by Lions Club members to promote volunteerism and civic responsibility among young people.

Since its inception, last August, it’s already making significant impact in its community and April has been praised for her dedication and leadership, volunteering countless hours to support local initiatives.

Open to ages 12-18, participation in the Leos Club also helps students fulfill the 40 hours of community service required for high school graduation.
