John F. Ross CVI Teacher wins OBEA award

GUELPH, Ontario – In February, the Ontario Business Educators’ Association (OBEA) announced their recipient of the 2019 Robert Hillmer Award, and this year’s recipient is a teacher at John F. Ross CVI.

The Hillmer Award began as a way for the Hillmer family to honour the memory of their late son, Robert. According to a release from OBEA, they are “proud to continue the tradition of this award for over 50 years.”

The Hillmer Award represents a career-long contribution to education with a focus on professional leadership in the school, community and province.

Greg Cawsey, a teacher at John F. Ross CVI, will receive his award at the OBEA Spring Conference on May 3rd.
