May 5, 2022
Red Dress Day is a National Day of Awareness for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirit People. On June 3, 2019, the Final Report from the National Inquiry on Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls was released. The inquiry made 231 Calls for Justice and concluded that the acts of violence against Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people in Canada constitutes genocide.
