Trustees vote to keep Kenilworth Public School open

GUELPH, Ontario – It’s official. Kenilworth Public School will remain open, and facility upgrades, including a renovation for Full Day Kindergarten, have a green light.

At their regular board meeting on February 24, 2015 trustees of the Upper Grand District School Board voted to approve “Option One – Status Quo”, the recommendation of the Wellington North Elementary Accommodation Review Committee.

In making their decision trustees turned aside a recommendation to close the school, made by board staff in report received in January.
