UG students take home medals in Martial Arts competition

GUELPH, ON – Over the weekend, several Upper Grand District School Board students competed in the Ontario Provincial Martial Arts Championships. These students were all at the competition with their team from Guelph Family Martial Arts.

This event sees top athletes from across North America.

Deepali R from Guelph CVI placed as a finalist, Grace B from Centennial CVI took home two gold medals and Kent W from Centre Wellington DHS took home a gold medal. These students will compete again in June at the Canadian Martial Arts Championships.
