UGDSB French teachers learn about implementing structured literacy in classrooms

French teachers from across Upper Grand District School Board gathered on Monday night at a “Soirée de la littératie structurée” to learn about implementing Structured Literacy in UGDSB French classrooms.
The “Soirée de la littératie structurée” featured guest presentations by Kim Lockhart, Michelle Courville and Jessica Ortega. Educators had the opportunity to network, explore resources and learn more about implementing reading and writing research based strategies into classroom practice for French as a Second Language (FSL) students.
