March 25, 2022

ERIN, Ontario – It is schools across Canada that carry on the torch of Terry Fox’s legacy to push cancer research forward.

It’s with great excitement that we announce that Erin District High School ranked 13th in the secondary school division for Terry Fox fundraising, the amount of money they raised totalling $10,443.65 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

I couldn’t be more proud of this accomplishment, as it was a whole school, staff and student effort. EDHS might be a small school, but they have a big heart and make a big noise,” said Deidre Wilson, EDHS principal.

The Terry Foundation has ignited cancer research in Canada, raising more than $850 million dollars since 1980, and has brought hope and health to millions of Canadians.
