UGDSB presents Pride month virtual art exhibit

 June 8, 2020

GUELPH, Ontario – Students across the Upper Grand District School Board jumped at the opportunity to submit art pieces to the UGDSB Pride month virtual art exhibit.

Earlier this year, we invited students to submit original art pieces that depict the rights, needs, questions and hopes of our LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

Submissions could be digitally created or created by hand and students could remain anonymous if they wanted to.

The goal of this student art exhibit is to activate as many student voices as we could from schools across the board. Submissions did not disappoint.

Below is just a sample of some of the amazing submissions we received.

To view the entire art exhibit, please visit the UGDSB Pride month website.

Students should be very proud of the art work they submitted to this exhibit.
