#WeAllHaveAbility – Let’s help promote accessibility at home and school

GUELPH, Ontario – Did you know that 1 in 5 Ontarians have a disability and that 70% of disabilities are invisible? 

Starting this month, we will be sharing monthly accessibility information and a monthly challenge on the board website.  

The Upper Grand District School Board is committed to ensuring that its services meet optimum standards of accessibility for people with disabilities.

Winter weather has arrived and with it comes winter maintenance! Take some time this winter to locate possible outdoor accessibility concerns at your school and home and think about ways to help minimize the impact of winter weather on those who have accessibility challenges.

Share your ideas, pictures and ways that you helped make your community more accessible by tweeting @ugdsb using #WeAllHaveAbility.
