Remote learning to continue for time being, province announces
On Thursday May 13, Premier Doug Ford announced that Ontario schools will continue with remote learning for the time being, due to the current COVID-19 situation.

Clarification regarding remote learning program for the 2021-22 school year
Please note that the Upper Grand District School Board remote learning program for the 2021-22 school year will NOT be a “hybrid model.” Students who register for remote school will be placed in the standalone elementary or secondary remote schools, where classes/courses are staffed by dedicated remote learning teachers.

Program for Indigenous families in the UGDSB: Anishinaabemowin Nanda-gikendan “Seeking to Learn the Language”
A new weekend program for Indigenous families begins this September. Anishinaabemowin Nanda-gikendan – “Seeking to Learn the Language” – will run on Saturdays from 9-11:30am, from Sept. 18, 2021, to May 28, 2022.
