John F. Ross students open ‘Chrysalis’ themed art gallery

July 10, 2023

Guelph, ON — Congratulations to students and staff at John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute for opening their art gallery just before the summer break.

The theme for the students’ gallery was ‘Chrysalis’, the theme meant to represent the metamorphosis of themselves as students and of the gallery space, explained their art instructor.

The creation of the gallery space allowed all of the students to display their artwork, especially for the senior students, who not only contributed their art to the gallery but who also held the responsibility of curating the art exhibit.

Their teacher hopes that her students held pride for themselves, having their work displayed for family and community members to see.
