FERGUS, ON – The Upper Grand District School Board’s Parent Involvement Committee will be hosting a gathering for school councils from different schools.

This gathering will be an opportunity for school council members to connect and learn from other school council members throughout the UGDSB in a facilitated roundtable discussion.

The event will be held at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus, on Saturday, December 3 from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm. 

The event will cover such topics as the responsibilities of different roles within a school council group, governance bylaws, community building, and so much more. 

This event is open to current school council members and anybody else interested in learning more about school councils. You can register here.
