Opportunities to access asymptomatic COVID-19 testing during the upcoming April break have been expanded by the province.
Thank you to all Upper Grand District School Board staff, students and families for continuing to follow the COVID-19 health and safety measures that help keep our school communities safe. It is more important than ever that we continue to follow public health advice over the Spring Break.
The following new draft policy has been released for public consultation, and feedback from the public is welcome on the draft documents: Policy 519 – Indigenous Education (First Nations, Métis, Inuit).
The Canadian Mental Health Association of Waterloo-Wellington has prepared resources for educational staff, students and families, which focus on acknowledging the losses experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while making space for gratitude and hope.
Beginning March 11, COVID-19 testing will begin to become available to specific schools within the Upper Grand District School Board. The testing is voluntary and consent will be required. Testing is for asymptomatic individuals only.
