Reminder: Municipal School Crossing Guards and extreme weather

With the wintery weather continuing, we would like to remind families about how weather may impact adult school crossing guards. 

Adult school crossing guards are employed by the municipality, not the school board. Parents and guardians should be aware that municipal crossing guards may not provide service as a result of the extreme inclement weather. 

There may also be some cases, depending on your municipality, that adult school crossing guards are cancelled when buses are cancelled.
