Students at Norwell District Secondary School have been creating art with the priority of environmental sustainability at the forefront.

Ms. Angel gave students a sculpture assignment that challenged them to create sustainable artwork out of recyclable or reusable materials like cardboard and plastic.

The project encouraged students to consider waste and its impact on the environment by repurposing everyday materials through art. Subjects could include anything of personal interest, value, or appreciation— ultimately turning trash into treasure.
