Policy Statement

The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is committed to ensuring procurement activities are conducted in an ethical, professional, accountable, and socially responsible manner governed by guiding principles that serve as the framework for decision-making. All procurement activities shall adhere to laws, regulations, rules, acts, trade agreements, and abide by the Ontario Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive and the Buy Ontario Procurement Directive. In alignment with the board’s values and through fair, open, and transparent procurement processes, the board is committed to obtaining maximum value for each expended dollar in support of students, schools, and taxpayers.
