A dedicated employee from the Upper Grand District School Board has been named the Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year by a national organization.
UGDSB’s Mary Ann Schouten was awarded the honour by Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
Each year, SAC recognizes and celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to the association or the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology.
Mary Ann is the Manager of Communication, Language, and Speech Services and Deaf/Hard of Hearing Supports at the UGDSB. She has dedicated her 30-year career to supporting students in educational settings.
