GUELPH, ON – In December, the Student Leadership Council at Taylor Evans Public School organized the school's first ever Holiday Gift Shop.

Staff and families were asked to donate gently used items if they could. Items included toys, puzzles, books, home decor items, glassware, and more. Once donations had been organized, students were able to purchase items for $2 each. This allowed students the opportunity to purchase for family members and give them some independence. Once items were purchased, students had the option to have the Student and Leadership Council wrap up their items.

Taylor Evans PS is pleased to announce that they raised more than $1,400 at their Holiday Gift Shop for Parkwood Gardens Neighbourhood Food Bank and the Chalmers Food Bank. Cheques were presented to each organization in January.

Great work, Taylor Evans PS!
