Students in the Beyond Borders class hosted the Evolve Gala on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the River Run Centre in Guelph.
Beyond Borders is a Guelph-based experiential learning program that develops future business leaders through hands-on education, community involvement, and real-world business exposure.
This year's gala included performances by I, The Mountain, Bradley Hale, Dance Inc., Ben Doerksen, Lauren Roy, Joe Burns, Alexa Goldie, Performance Dance Academy and Bernie Hale.
This year students were hoping to raise $200,000 through generous donations from sponsors, ticket sales, a silent auction, and a 50/50 draw. Exceeding their goal, the 2026 Beyond Borders class raised $255,000 for Team Addy, Guelph Wish Fund for Children, Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington and the UGDSB Experiential Learning programs.
