Upper Grand District School Board -

With today's bus cancellations in Zones 3 and 4, we have revised the exam schedule as shown below.  Given the number of inclement weather days that have impacted these schools, WHSS, NDSS, CDDHS, ODSS, WSS and EDHS, we are going to make the following adjustments to the exam schedule.

These changes apply to WHSS, NDSS, CDDHS, ODSS, WSS and EDHS only:

• Exam Day 3 and Exam Day 4 to be scheduled on Friday Jan. 30, 2026

  • Exam Day 3 Friday morning

  • Exam Day 4 Friday afternoon

• Grade 9 - With the exception of grade 9 EQAO, all remaining Grade 9 subject examinations for Semester 1 will be cancelled, and final marks will be based on term work and culminating activities. Grade 9 teachers are asked to focus on administering the Ministry-mandated EQAO Grade 9 Mathematics Assessment during the scheduled examination period.

• Grades 10–12 - To accommodate the need to schedule two examinations within a single day, teachers of Grades 10–12 are asked to adjust their examinations to a maximum length of 1.5 hours. Separate messaging will be coming shortly to principals to support messaging with staff.  Teachers are expected to use their professional judgment to determine appropriate adjustments to exams while maintaining the integrity of the assessment.  

• WHSS, NDSS, WSS, ODSS, CDDHS and EDHS report cards will be available to families on February 10.

• CWDHS, JFR, GCVI and CHSS report cards will be available to families on February 9.

• CCVI report cards will be available to families on February 6.
