For the second year, John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute will be hosting the Waterloo-Wellington National Theatre School of Canada (NTS) DramaFEST competition.
NTS DramaFEST supports thousands of students across Canada with the creation of theatrical performances.
The Waterloo-Wellington NTS DramaFEST competition will take place at the E.L. Fox Auditorium from March 3 to 6, 2026. Upper Grand students include those from John F. Ross CVI, Norwell DSS, Erin DHS and Westside SS. Other schools from Guelph, Kitchener and Cambridge will also be present at the competition.
Participants of this competition will receive professional feedback from theatre practitioners while competing for a spot at the Regional Festival.
Performances are set to begin at 6:00 p.m. each evening. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.

The awards ceremony will follow the final performance.
