At the February meeting of the UGDSB’s Student Senate, students held elections to determine the Student Trustees for the 2026-27 school year.
After reviewing the voting process, students listened to candidates for urban and rural Student Trustees. After conferring, each of the 11 secondary schools has their ballots.
We are excited to announce that Keira P. from Erin District High School has been elected for the rural position, and Tavleen R. from Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute had been elected for the urban position.
Keira and Tavleen will begin their term on August 1, 2026.
