Guelph, ON – Families in Guelph and Wellington are invited to take part in an upcoming parent information night focused on understanding youth substance and screen use.
The Understanding Youth Today: Substance and Screen Use event is hosted in collaboration with more than 10 leading community health, education, and youth‑serving organizations, including: Wellington Catholic DSB, Upper Grand DSB, Wellington Guelph Drug Strategy, CADS Homewood, CMHA Waterloo Wellington, Community Resilience Coalition, WDG Public Health, Wyndham House, Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario Wellington Guelph, YMCA Three Rivers, and Guelph General Hospital.
This session will take place on May 6, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM at St. James High School and is a no-cost event for those attending. The event will feature a panel discussion with local subject matter experts focused on youth substance and screen use, along with opportunities for participants to engage with community partners to learn more about available resources and supports.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to register for the event online.
