Norwell District Secondary School students have been hard at work preparing to present their spring production, Matilda, the Musical this May.

Matilda, the Musical, is a high-energy and heartwarming adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved story. Matilda, the Musical, follows the story of an extraordinary young girl with a brilliant mind and a vivid imagination. Misunderstood by her parents and bullied by the tyrannical headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Matilda discovers her inner strength and resilience. With the support of her compassionate teacher, Miss Honey, she learns to stand up for what is right, proving that even the smallest voice can spark meaningful change.

This musical will not only showcase the talents of the Norwell DSS cast and crew of student performers, but is also filled with catchy songs, energetic choreography, and powerful messages about courage, kindness, and self-advocacy. The cast and crew promise to deliver an unforgettable theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
