Earlier this year, Noah A., from Westside Secondary School, received the news that he had won the prestigious President’s Scholarship from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).
The President’s Scholarship is awarded to twelve incoming students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, leadership, and creative ability. This scholarship includes a $40,000 total value which works out to be a $10,000 renewable annual amount each year for four years.
According to Noah’s teacher, Cheryl Kanters, “It’s a remarkable accomplishment and truly speaks to Noah’s dedication, character, and the impact he has made throughout his high school journey.” Kanters continued to say, “Westside is incredibly proud of him and all that he has achieved.”
