In May, Jasmine A., a grade 11 student at Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute was named the winner of the YMCA Women of Distinction Young Trailblazer award.
The YMCA of Three Rivers Women of Distinction celebrates women who are role models and trailblazers for women in Guelph and beyond.
Jasmine has become a powerful youth advocate in the community with roles at the Guelph Youth Council, as a member of GCVI’s Student Senate team, and through various civic committees.
Jasmine was presented with the Young Trailblazer Award at the Women of Distinction ceremony on May 27, 2026.
