GUELPH, Ontario – Waverley Drive Public School is pleased to announce that it has been ‘adopted’ as part of the Canada-wide Indigo Adopt a School fundraising campaign.

Waverley Drive PS is the only Upper Grand District School Board school to be included in this year’s fundraiser and was adopted by Indigo Guelph, who will be raising funds on behalf of the school.

The fundraiser runs from September 13 to October 3. During that time, funds raised during the campaign will help support the Waverley Drive PS library. This exciting opportunity will help Waverley Drive PS add new material to their growing school library.

Donations can be made online and in store at Indigo Guelph. The school will receive every dollar raised during the campaign period to put toward books for the library.

Indigo runs this fundraiser each year with the goal of promoting and supporting literacy initiatives and learning opportunities in elementary schools across the country.
