Students from several UGDSB secondary schools recently took an exciting step toward their post-secondary future during a special campus visit to the University of Guelph, organized by the Post-Secondary Navigation Team.
The event welcomed students who have accepted an admission offer for Fall 2025 and Grade 11/12 students exploring post-secondary options. Throughout the day, participants attended informative sessions on student supports, accessibility services, and campus resources, helping them prepare for a successful transition to university.
A guided tour showcased key campus landmarks, including lecture halls, labs, athletic facilities, dining halls, the library, and student residences. Students had the opportunity to engage with university staff, ask questions about accessibility accommodations, and learn about the many programs and services available to support their journey.
"The visit helped me feel more confident about starting university," shared one student. "Seeing the campus in person and learning about the resources available made a huge difference."
By providing hands-on experiences and valuable insights, the Post-Secondary Navigation Team continues to help UGDSB students navigate the path to higher learning with confidence.
