College Heights Secondary School (CHSS) is excited to welcome families, students, and community members to its annual Spring Sale and Community Resource Fair taking place on Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 at the school’s Guelph campus, located at 371 College Avenue West.
This vibrant two-day event will showcase the talents and creativity of CHSS students while providing the community with opportunities to shop, connect, and explore valuable resources. Visitors can enjoy:
Spa Day in the Cosmetology Rooms (A101)
BBQ Lunch & Dinner (Friday, 12–6 pm) and Breakfast Grill & BBQ Lunch (Saturday, 8 am–1 pm)
Open Mic & Pop-Up Film Premieres
Plant Sale (C103): fresh herbs, veggies, houseplants, and bouquets
Bake Shop & Kitchen Sale (C101): cookies, cakes, sausages, and more
Woodworking & Metalwork (C102): home and garden creations
Community Resource Fair & Food Drive (Friday only, 1–4 pm, Cafeteria)
The Community Resource Fair is a key highlight on Friday, offering free BBQ meals and access to a variety of supports for families. Featured services include mental health and housing resources, affordable homeownership information, and co-op placement opportunities. Attendees can also enter to win great prizes such as gift cards and homemade baked goods. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to contribute to the on-site Food Drive.
