UGDSB achieves a record number of schools winning EcoSchools certification
Thirty-three Upper Grand elementary and secondary schools have been certified as EcoSchools for 2015. This is a record number of winning schools, and includes seven schools that participated for the first time.

Upper Grand will issue report cards for elementary students by the week of August 31
The Upper Grand District School Board now has a plan to issue report cards with grades only for elementary school students by the week of August 31.
Upper Grand to replace report cards with promotion letters for elementary students
The Upper Grand District School Board will issue Letters of Promotion for elementary school students replacing the Term 2 Ontario Provincial Report Card for the 2014-15 school year. As part of their legal province-wide strike, teachers are not electronically entering student marks into the report card.

Achieving by Believing – 2015
Eight students facing challenges, adversity and/or socio-economic issues and at-risk of not graduating from high school were awarded Achieving by Believing awards presented at the Upper Grand Program Committee meeting on June 2nd, 2015.
