The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is committed to providing safe and secure digital technologies and services to support the educational experiences of students and maintain efficient board business operations.  The board upholds this commitment through a data governance and (data) security foundation, built upon a data governance framework, a cyber security program, a digital resource vetting program, and expectations for responsible use of technologies including artificial intelligence technologies.

This policy aligns with the board’s obligations under the Enhancing Digital Security and Trust Act, 2024 (EDSTA).
