Students heading into Grade 9 this September have the chance to attend a Grade 9 orientation day at their school before the summer is over.
Most UGDSB secondary schools offer these days, which are full of fun activities to help students make friends and get comfortable heading into the new school year.

Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute (CCVI)

Centre Dufferin District High School (Centre Dufferin DHS)

WHERE: Centre Dufferin DHS main entrance.
WHO: All Grade 9 students. Parents are also invited to attend an Information Session at 9:00 a.m.

WHO: All Grade 9 students and Link Crew Leaders. Parents are invited to attend a Meet & Greet Q&A in the library at 9 a.m.

Centre Wellington District High School

Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute (GCVI)
WHEN: Thursday, August 28, 8:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
WHERE: GCVI gym
WHO: All Grade 9 students and LINK Leaders (senior students who will be their mentors for their first year of high school).

John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute
WHEN: Thursday, August 28, 8:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
WHERE: Students can be dropped off at the front of the school or in the student parking lot (off Meyer Dr. closest to the football field) before 8:30 a.m.
WHO: All Grade 9 students. There is an optional Parent Meeting from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m in the JFR Library.

Orangeville District Secondary School (ODSS)
WHEN: Thursday, August 28, 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the back doors near the double gym (rear parking lot) of ODSS. Look for signs and student leaders who will be there to welcome you and guide you.
WHO: All Grade 9 students.
