Full day kindergarten by 2014

GUELPH, Ontario (June 2, 2010) — The Ontario government has announced the details for implementing the final two years of full-day kindergarten across the province. Every four- and five-year-old child will be able to go to full-day kindergarten by September 2014.

French Immersion Starting in Rockwood in September 2014

Four Shelburne students receive provincial heritage award

SHELBURNE, Ontario (February 29, 2012) — For their creation of a World War I memorial based on a scroll designed by Group of Seven artist A.J. Casson, four Grade 12 students from Centre Dufferin District High School have received the Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Award for Youth Achievement.

First step taken to establish a boundary for the new King George P.S.

Upper Grand District School Board is getting its homework done early by
establishing an attendance area boundary for King George Public School.

Final report of the King George Boundary Review goes to trustees

GUELPH, Ontario (December 11, 2012) — The Upper Grand District School Board has moved a
step closer towards setting attendance area boundaries for King George
Public School, effective September 2014. The Board’s Business Operations
Committee has voted to approve Scenario 1 in the King George JK-8 FI
Boundary Review – with one significant change. The decision must still
be ratified at the regular board meeting on December 18.
