Final boundary report released for new Orangeville elementary school

GUELPH, Ontario (June 7, 2013) — The third and final report of the New Settlers Creek
JK-8 RT Boundary Review has been posted to the Upper Grand District
School Board website, in advance of the presentation to trustees on
Tuesday, June 11, 2013.

Feasibility study recommends Grade 7 and 8 for Sir Isaac Brock P.S.

GUELPH, Ontario (June 7, 2013) — The final report of the Sir Isaac Brock PS Grades 7
& 8 Feasibility Study has recommended that the program at Sir Isaac
Brock PS be expanded from JK-6 to JK-8 effective September 2015.

Everyone in Quebec town is ‘in on it’

GUELPH, Ontario (February 17, 2012) — Snow has been in scarce supply this year in Southern
Ontario, but students from the Upper Grand District School Board entered
a different world as they travelled into the mountains north of
Montreal last Sunday (Feb. 12). Snow was piled one-to-two feet on
rooftops, and local traffic included snowmobiles.

EQAO Results Released for Primary and Junior Reading, Writing, and Mathematics

EQAO results released for Grade 9 Math

GUELPH, Ontario (September 25, 2013) — Grade 9 math students in the Upper Grand District School Board continue to surpass the provincial average in test results released by the province’s Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO). Results in both the academic and applied program have topped the province’s scores over the past five years.
