May 17 marks the annual International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT). This is a day that helps brings organizations, government agencies, and individual people around the world together to "raise awareness about the issues facing LGBTQIA+ people, and to advocate for policies and laws that protect their rights."
